The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion plans to rehabilitate the roadway as follows:
  • Chemin Daoust between Rue Metcalfe and Route Harwood, excluding the MTQ overpass and highway ramps
  • Approximately between Monday, July 11 and Friday, July 15, timing is dependent on weather conditions and sometimes operational constraints
  • Starting at 7 a.m.
  • A traffic plan (possibly alternating traffic) will be posted on Saint-Lazare’s Facebook page as soon as it is available

To avoid delays, avoid this area on the dates mentioned.

The paving work will be carried out in the Place du Parc:
  • Tuesday, May 31, 2022: Chemin Sainte-Angélique between rue de Versailles and rue Maple Ridge
  • Wednesday, June 1, 2022: Chemin Chevrier completely
  • Thursday, June 2, 2022: Chemin Sainte-Élisabeth between rue du Bordelais and rue Chanterel
  • The duration of the work depends on weather conditions and sometimes on operational constraints
  • Alternating traffic on one lane

Aware of the inconvenience caused by the work, such as dust, noise and the impossibility of using your entrance at certain times, rest assured every possible effort is made to minimize the impacts during the work.

Please slow down around the construction site to protect the lives of workers.

Pruning of vegetation
Municipal roads and road signs

For the safety of road users, the City is currently clearing vegetation and will continue clearing it for the coming weeks and months:
  • Along municipal roads
  • Around signs

If vegetation encroaches on the roadway or interferes with the visibility of road users:
  • Residents can prune their own vegetation if they wish or:
  • Municipal teams will:
    • On the facade of properties
    • In side courtyard of properties located on a street corner.
Tables setting the minimum clearance required

The tables of the vegetation clearances in road margins in the different speed zones (30, 40, 50 and 70 km/h) as well as the illustrations are available on the website. The City meets the recommended distances according to the standards of the Ministère du Transport du Québec .

Concrete curb work on Rue des Coccinelles
Some private entrances not accessible starting Tuesday, May 24, 2022

Various work is planned in the sector of Rue des Coccinelles. Some of this work has already begun. The concrete curb work will begin on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. All residents concerned by this work have received information about the nature of the work in 2021 and recently through the contractor mandated to do the work. Since the owners concerned will not have access to their parking lot, they are invited to move their vehicles according to the following schedule:

For the NORTH side of the street in yellow (see map):
  • Tuesday, May 24 to Tuesday, May 31, 2022
  • Vehicles must be out of the driveway by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24.

For the SOUTH side of the street in red (see map):
  • From Monday, May 30 to Thursday, June 2nd, 2022
  • Your vehicle must be out of your driveway by 7 a.m. on Monday, May 30.

The timeline is planned from Wednesday, June 1st to Friday, June 10th but will be confirmed by the contractor when closer to those dates.

Parc Bédard

New playground equipment for 2022

Residents will be able to notice preparation work for the implementation of new game modules at Parc Bédard starting Monday, November 15, 2021 for an approximate duration of one week.

This work is required to accommodate new game modules by mid-December 2021.

For security reasons, these game modules will not be open until the spring of 2022 (May 1).

No traffic restriction is foreseen, all work will be carried out inside Parc Park.
