Behavioural changes and adjustments are essential to addressing the impact that climate change has had on the water cycle.
This is especially important given that the household consumption of Saint-Lazare residents was 193 litres per person, per day (in 2022), while the target set by the Québec government's Stratégie québécoise d'économie d'eau potable was 184 litres per person, per day, a threshold that was reached by Ontarians in 2017.
