Business
A person wishing to establish his or her business in Saint-Lazare must first contact the Urban Planning Department to obtain information regarding location, permitted uses, the environment and requirements.
Développement Vaudreuil-Soulanges is also an excellent source of information. This organization will make things easier by providing the tools you need to optimize your company’s development and guiding you through the process.
Language of service
Ville de Saint-Lazare is a Québec public body with unilingual French status. As such, it must adhere to its obligations under the Charter of the French Language on a daily basis.
The employees of Ville de Saint-Lazare are committed to greeting residents with courtesy, transparency and professionalism and to providing services, documents and information in the language of their choice to the best of their ability and where permitted by law.
Residents can find the vast majority of information on the Town's Web site in both French and English, either in its entirety or in a generic form. Certain documents, however, are only available in French. This includes meeting minutes, job postings, official by-laws and tax bills. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall be considered the official version.
If you have not found the information you need or the answers to your questions after visiting the Web site, please contact a member of our staff, who will be happy to help you.
Persons with disabilities
In keeping with its strategic vision, the Town is committed to pursuing its efforts to reduce barriers to the social participation of persons with disabilities.
As direct public service providers, the Town's staff members are called upon to serve people with disabilities on a daily basis in the course of their work, including at service counters and on the ground while delivering a service or activity.
In 2022, in an effort to be better equipped to recognize persons living with a disability, and better serve them as a result, employees have been invited to complete training aimed at better recognizing different types of disabilities at the outset and thus better adapting their services.
