Frequency
The Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC organizes 2 special collections per year, generally in:
- January (schedule varies based on statutory holidays) - Tuesday, January 7, 2025
- July (moving period) - Tuesday, July 8, 2025

Accepted materials
- Reasonable quantity for a single household
- Maximum size 3 feet x 3 feet
- Taken apart
- Stacked
- Placed in a single box or tied together with rope or tape
100% non-compliant items
- Large quantity from a business
Guidelines
Place at the curb:
- No later than 7 a.m. on the day the announced collection starts or starting at 7 p.m. the evening before collection day
Position:
- Clearing of 2 feet (or 0.61 m)
- Place in your private entrance (no cardboard should be placed on sidewalks and/or bike paths)
- Place cardboard next to the blue bin if the special collection is held on the same day as the recycling collection (blue bin)
- Left side when facing your home
- 5 feet (2.5 m) from the street
