Street lights
Municipal lighting
The City’s lighting network includes close to 500 street lamps and 100 decorative lighting (located mainly in the center of the city).
Hydro-Québec street lights
Numerous Cobra-head street lights also belong to Hydro-Québec.
Notify the City of a defective street lamp
Although municipal employees take note of defective lights as part of regular checks or when carrying out their daily tasks, residents are nonetheless invited to notify the City of any defective lighting by:
- Providing:
- Their complete contact information
- A brief description of the request
- The specific location where service is required (address, intersection, streets)
- Completing online request (a follow-up number is provided)
- Leaving a message at 450 424-8000, extension 250
Please note that the City will wait until it has several requests before it hires an electrician to repair or change defective lights.
