In 2023, Ville de Saint-Lazare has joined Fleurons du Québec program. The Fleurons du Québec classifiers will come and evaluate 60% of our landscaping towards the end of the summer of 2023 in order to give us our horticultural classification. Our 2023 summer will be decisive for the next three years.

The City wishes to demonstrate that it is possible to combine eco-responsibility and aesthetism.

Created in 2006, Les Fleurons du Québec recognize the sustainable horticultural beautification efforts of Quebec municipalities. The horticultural classification of the fleurons, similar to the stars for hotels (1 to 5 fleurons), is valid for three years and can be displayed at municipal entrances.
