The City has mandated the firm Simo Management Inc. to carry out smoke tests on part of the Saint-Lazare sewer system.

These tests, which will run for 3 weeks starting the week of November 25, will identify residences with reversed sanitary and storm connections. They are also designed to identify areas where sanitary water is seeping into the stormwater network.

Residents living on the streets concerned have received a letter explaining the intervention procedure.
