Frequency
- Four (4) times per year;
- Maximum 3 consecutive days.
- May: National Patriots Day weekend
- In June: the first weekend of June
- In September: Labour Day weekend
- In September: the weekend of the 3rd Saturday of September
Registration 2025
- You don't have to register to take part (no permit required);
- However, registering allows you to be included on the list of participating addresses, and to benefit from greater visibility;
- Registration is online via a form.

List of participating addresses
- This list is published on this page the day before the sale;
- The City cannot guarantee that the registration will be posted if the resident does not respect the deadlines;
- No changes will be made to the lists once they have been published.
Guidelines
- Gather your used items (in good condition);
- On the day of the sale, at 8 a.m.: place your items at the curb (on your lawn or in your private entrance);
- At 8 p.m. on the last day of the sale: remove any items that have not been picked up;
- Rain or shine, the hunt is on;
- Remaining items can be brought to one of Vaudreuil-Soulanges' four ecocentres, Carrefour de l'Espoir de Vaudreuil-Soulanges or Source d'Entraide.
Signage
- No directional signs are authorized on the territory;
- No garage sales are permitted outside the four periods authorized by the City.
Only one (1) sign:
- May be installed at the address where the sale is taking place;
- May be installed only 48 hours prior to the sale taking place;
- Must be removed immediately after the sale is over;
- Must not obstruct
vehicular or pedestrian traffic, or the visibility of City traffic signs.
Last minute cancellation
Should you have to cancel your garage sale after the publication of the list, you will have to post a sign to that effect on your property, on the scheduled days of your sale, in order to inform any customer who shows up at your address.
