Management and transparency (in French only)
Municipalities must adopt contract management mechanisms to oversee the contract awarding process in order to avoid, among other things, situations of influence by members of the selection committee, bid-rigging, conflicts of interest, acts of intimidation, influence peddling or corruption.
Consult by-law 1036, which sets out the rules for contract management, as well as policy 033, which aims to ensure the fair treatment of complaints made to the city during the adjudication or awarding of a contract. (French only)
