Call for applications for the Urban planning Advisory Committee

The Urban planning Advisory Committee is looking for a member to complete its team.
This Committee is composed of 2 members of the municipal council, 7 members representing the population (2-year mandate) and 2 resource persons from the Service de l’urbanisme.
It is constituted under the Planning and Development Act (LAU) and is composed of a majority of members from the municipality to guide, orient and support actions relating to urban planning. In order to exercise its decision-making authority, the municipal council must have received prior notice from its Urban planning Committee in cases involving a minor derogation, a Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), an architectural implementation and integration plan (PIIA) and a specific project for the construction, modification or occupancy of an immovable (PPCMOI).
CCU meetings are held once a month, usually on Tuesday evenings, and are conducted in French. Meetings are held in person. The meeting calendar is available here.
If you live in Saint-Lazare and would like to join the Urban Planning Advisory Committee, please send us an e-mail explaining why you would like to become a member of the committee and how your skills and experience can contribute to playing an undeniable role in the community's planning and development mission.
You have until Friday, April 11, 2025 at 4 p.m. to send your application to the following address: cpilon@ville.saint-lazare.qc.ca.
