Get scared in complete safety!

Before you hit the streets, be sure to take some time with your kids to review safe Halloween behaviors!

Here are a few useful tips:

  • Wear clothes of the right length, to avoid tripping, and in light colors.
  • If possible, avoid masks. They prevent children from seeing what's going on around them.
  • Use a flashlight and/or reflective band to be visible.
  • Walk only one side of the street at a time to avoid crossing unnecessarily.
  • Look both ways before crossing the street.
  • If your child spends Halloween alone, agree on a return time. Ask them to always stay in a group.
  • When your child returns home, take time to inspect the treats collected before starting to eat.

Happy Halloween!
