Community gardens
The City has 2 community gardens:
- Community Centre (1301 rue du bois)
- Parc de la Cité-des-Papillons (at the end of rue des Monarques)
The registration period runs from January 1 to March 30.

These gardens are inspired by the principles of permaculture, no chemical fertilizers or pesticides can be used. The community garden are also a unifying and convivial project. Garden beds are 16 feet long x 4 feet wide.

Rental cost
A rate of $20 will apply to the seasonal rental of a garden.
Method of allocation
- Gardeners from the previous year have priority when gardens are allocated
- Vacant lots, if any, are then allocated by random draw among new registrations and a waiting list is created.
- Elevated gardens are reserved for persons with physical limitations. If you would like an elevated garden, please specify it when registering.
Rules and regulations concerning gardens
Gardeners must comply with the health regulations issued by the government.Watch the video prepared by the recreation team.
Gardeners who have a plot behind the Community Centre can join the closed Facebook group.
Registrations
Anyone with or without experience, young or old, wishing to cultivate a plot is invited to register from January to the end of March each year. Registration is announced using the City's newsletter and the City's Facebook page.
- Only one entry accepted per residence
- Only online registrations are accepted
- Answers are given at the latest at the beginning of the month of April.

Choose in TYPE OF REQUEST, one of the 2 following options:
