Well-trained animators
All Day Camp animators receive training in various animation tools, such as the keys to managing groups of children, safety and intervention in emergency situations. They are prepared to react in the following situations:
- Injury
- Allergic reaction
- Fire
- Armed person
- Earthquake
- High winds and tornadoes
- Power failure

Code of conduct
- The child shows respect for everyone (fellow campers, counsellors, coordinators) by using respectful language and behaviour at all times. Swearing, vulgar language, arrogance, insults, offensive remarks and disrespectful language are prohibited at all times. Kicking, hitting, improper touching, disrespectful or violent behaviour are prohibited at all times. In the case of verbal abuse (shouts, threats, insults, mockery etc.) or physical abuse (shoving, fighting, obscene gestures, etc.), the camp coordinator will contact the parents immediately. Any form of violence is prohibited and will not be tolerated.
- The child respects himself. He wears adequate clothing in order to be comfortable during daily activities. His outfit is clean and appropriate and does not picture any sign of violence. Children who do not comply will be given a warning. Short shorts, cropped tee-shirts and tank tops or dance clothing are forbidden at all times. It is better to have closed shoes (or sandals well attached) in order to be able to enjoy all the activities. In addition, it is best to have shorts under your dress/skirt, for activities such as climbing.
- The child treats the day camp equipment put at his disposal with respect.
- It is forbidden to bring any food containing traces of nuts and peanuts. The child must not share his food with anyone.
- The child must follow the counsellors’ instructions at all times.
- The child must not bring prohibited items to camp. A detailed list is included in the parent’s guide.
- Throwing harmful objet (rocks, sand, etc.) is prohibited.
- The child must adopt a safe behaviour. Any behaviour dangerous to him or others will be punished.
- Any attempt to run away or escape of the group will be punished.
Disciplinary measures
If a child does not obey the rules, the following procedure will be followed:
- The child will be given a first verbal warning by the camp counsellor who witnessed the event.
- Following a second warning, the camp coordinator will inform the parents who will receive a written warning.
- If another warning is necessary, the child may receive an external suspension and be excluded from all activities or upcoming outings.
- If the child still does not respect the rules and regulations, he will be permanently dismissed from the day camp without any refund
In the case of violence, running away or escape, parents will be automatically contacted to pick up their child immediately. After two incidents, the child will definitely be dismissed and no refund will be possible.
These steps are usually taken in chronological order but there may be exceptions. The seriousness of the offense will determine the measures that will be taken. Therefore, step 1, 2 or 3 may be skipped.
