Day camp integration and support program
Objectives and Mission
The City offers Saint-Lazare children aged 5 to 12 with disabilities or special needs the opportunity to enjoy a positive integration experience at Ville de Saint-Lazare day camps. The service offered is not just a specialized one, but one of integration and inclusion in the regular day camp program.
The camp allows your child to:
- Manage his emotions (anxiety, impulsivity ...)
- Communicate his needs
- Enter into an appropriate relationship with peers
- Participate actively in a group game
- Understand and respect a directive
- Use a technical help (pictogram, adapted material ...)
- Meeting one's needs for hygiene, nutrition or health
Although these aspects do not necessarily require accompaniment, if your child has any of these limitations, please let us know. Our management team will match your child with an experienced
animator who will meet your child's needs.
