If you're looking to fill up on energy and nature, the Parc nature les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare is the place to be!
Since its creation in the 1970s, the park has changed hands three (3) times. Previously known as Centre de plein air Les Forestiers and Base de plein air des Cèdres, the park successively belonged to the Commission scolaire régionale de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, before being headed by a non-profit organization, being ceded to the Municipalité des Cèdres in 1999 and finally being acquired by the Ville de Saint-Lazare in May 2014. The park was officially annexed to the territory of Saint-Lazare in April 2016 after the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Mr. Pierre Moreau, approved the annexation by-law on December 10, 2015.
