Ali Abdou is a sorcerer’s apprentice. Alas, he himself is not a magician. Simply the apprentice of the Great Salazar. Without Salazar, he would be nothing—at least that’s what he believes. Until one fateful day when the curtain rises to reveal an empty stage and a worried face looking out at Ali Abdou from the depths of a strange mirror. Could it be Salazar? There isn’t a moment to waste: Salazar is being held prisoner in the darkness of Arkansas.

Ali Abdou is Salazar’s only hope. Feeling that he is no more than a lowly apprentice, Ali Abdou folds his arms defiantly and refuses to undertake the mission. But, Ali soon discovers that he cannot abandon someone in need. He finally accepts to discover the potential of his talent and knowledge, to find strength in numbers thanks to his wonderful allies and push himself beyond his limits to explore new avenues. So, tell us mirror, what incredible feats must Ali Abdou accomplish to free the Great Salazar?
