  • Wear a uniform and use well-identified patrol cars
  • Are mandated by the City to issue, on its behalf, tickets to enforce certain harmonized municipal by-laws (RMH), including nuisances (noise, smoke, dog, etc.), parking, illegal fires, watering, etc., more specifically the following by-laws:
    • The supervision of dogs as conferred by the provincial government (no. 600)
    • The use of parks (no. 637)

Patrouille bleue Blue patrol

Starting this summer of 2022, several students, members of Saint-Lazare’s new Blue patrol, will go door to door to share tips and tricks to reduce their use of potable water both outdoor and indoor as well as information to access the city’s financial assistance.
  • The source of water in Saint-Lazare
  • The ecological maintenance of a lawn
  • Green solutions to replace turf and a choice of drought-resistant plants
  • The criteria to receive the financial assistance for the purchase of a rainwater barrel, low-flow toilets as well as the purchase of native trees
  • And answer any questions about the new regulations in force

Members of the patrol will be identified by clothing bearing the municipal logo and with a piece of identification issued by the city.
