Opening schedule
The opening of recreational infrastructure begins once emergencies have been addressed and roads are cleaned up. This consists of:
- Ensuring approximately 30 parks and green spaces are safe
- Re-installing garbage bins and outdoor furniture (picnic tables, etc.)
As a guideline, as long as health and climatic conditions permit, the target opening dates for sports fields and equipment are as follows:
May 1st to October 31st
- Children’s play areas
- Community Gardens
- Skatepark
- Paved bike paths
- Multi-use trails (summer period)
- Volleyball and baseball fields
May 1st to November 15
- Petanque court
- Tennis / pickleball courts
May 24 (National Patriot Day in 2021) until the last weekend of september
Mid-June to Labor Day
- Outdoor pool at Parc nature les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare
Dates confirmed with clubs
Baseball, soccer and football fields (natural) and synthetic sports field
