The Library’s Summer Reading Club will run from July 2 to August 19, 2010. Youngsters who want to participate must register starting June 29, 2010. The club’s objective is to encourage kids to read during their summer vacation.

Those who participate will receive a logbook in which they will write down the titles of the books they will have read during that period. The library’s loan clerks will stamp their logbook for each 5 books they have read.

This contest will end with a big draw at the Saint-Lazare Community Centre on August 26, 2010 at 7 p.m. Those who fulfill their reading commitment will receive prizes as well as a diploma.
