Saint-Lazare Library invites adults to a conference on eco-gardening on Thursday, September 9, 2010
at the community centre (1301 Rue du Bois), in French at 7 p.m. and in
English at 8:30 p.m.
The Library has invited Stefan Sobkowiak, landscape architect and
wildlife biologist, to give a conference on eco-gardening. With the use
of examples and teaching aids, he will show you:
· how to have a beautiful garden with little effort
· how to deal with plant diseases and harmful insects
· the two key ingredients to nurture healthy soil
· the importance of choosing the right plant species
· the crucial role of biodiversity
