Fire prevention visits

Saint-Lazare firefighters visit Saint-Lazare homes as a preventive measure. The objectives are to:

· Reduce the loss of life and property by fire;

· Promote prevention measures to eliminate fire risks in the home;

· Publicize municipal fire safety by-laws and make sure residents comply with them.

Single family dwellings and multiple housing units
Prevention visits are conducted over an approximate 10 week-period from June to August.

In every case, firefighters will carry identification, will come with an identified car and will wear a service outfit.

You have questions or concerns, contact the fire prevention department at 450-424-8000 ext. 207.
