Public consultation

Public consultation participation form
Ville de Saint-Lazare's Sustainable Development Plan
Intended for Saint-Lazare residents

It is now time to tell us how you would like to express your opinion on the actions to include in your sustainable development plan so you can experience THE Saint-Lazare of your dreams!

One of the 2 following options will be available to you:

  1. An active participation in person or by videoconference (in accordance with the health guidelines in effect in September) on Saturday, September 19th, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m in the company of residents, facilitators and moderators. We are aiming for an “in-person” consultation at the community center (1301 Rue du Bois), but we may be required to host it by videoconference depending on the health guidelines in place in September.
  2. A passive participation by completing an online survey.

One of these 2 options will allow you to share your ideas concerning the two themes closest to your heart out of the five proposed themes. Will your two themes be the environment and governance? The economy and land-use planning? Socio-cultural issues and the environment? It’s up to you!

How does it work?

When completing this form:

  • Tell us if you want to participate actively or passively
  • Rank in order of preference the topics you would really like to express your opinion on (2 will be selected, we will try to respect your preferences).
  • Choose the language in which you would like to express your opinion.
  • Get the chance to win a door prize, including one of the many vouchers in a Saint-Lazare store of your choice!
  • In the meantime, save the date in your agenda!

Confirmation of your participation

The City will confirm by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020:

  1. The form of the consultation you will be participating in (in person or via videoconference or online)
  2. The 2 themes you will be commenting on
  3. The number of the group(s) you will be assigned to (if the consultation is in person or via video conference)
  4. Instructions:
    • To follow if the consultation is held in person, i.e. heath safety instructions (wearing a mask, etc.)
    • To be followed if the consultation is held via videoconference, including the tool to download and the links to the videoconferences
    • To follow to complete an online questionnaire (if you chose this option)

Surveys

Moving forward towards a sustainable town

*Survey closed as of Friday, April 3, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.*

Survey | What do you dream of for Saint-Lazare?

Do you live or work in Saint-Lazare? Do you have opinions? A vision? A dream for tomorrow’s Saint-Lazare? Would you like to see the city address environmental, socio-cultural and economic issues to meet today’s needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs? If so, the City wants to hear from you because your answers will help shape the sustainable development plan in a way that reflects the people!

Survey

Divided into 3 main themes, the survey will take approximately 10 minutes and will allow you to comment on 13 environmental issues as well as 12 socio-cultural and 5 economic issues. Hurry! The survey ends on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. The data collected, which will remain confidential, will be used to develop other participatory initiatives, including a public consultation in the fall.
