Come meet local artists during an exhibition unveiling at the Library on Thursday, January 10 at 7 p.m. Our 2019 Winter Exhibition will be held at the Library from January 10 to 31, 2019.

The region’s artists are therefore invited to submit a work of art of their choice. This exhibition is open to both amateurs and professionals. Submit your work of art by contacting Librarian Michel Piché at 450-424-8000, extension 212. Hurry—spaces are limited!

Born and raised in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, a region with a rich historical heritage, located southwest of the Island of Montreal, Nicole has spent her life in the West Island suburbs. She has been living in Baie d’Urfé since 1980. After retiring in 2006, Nicole re-ignited her passion for art. To learn different techniques, she attended several courses, workshops and seminars.

Nicole continues to experiment with different techniques and subjects. Nicole has taken part in countless solo and group exhibitions (over 100). She was awarded first prize in the public’s choice contest for her piece entitled Chasseur dans l’eau (oil painting). Duration of exhibition: February 6 to 28, 2019.

The Saint-Lazare Library is pleased to welcome the students from Manon Labelle’s art school for an exhibition to be held from March 7 to 28 inclusively. Saint-Lazare residents are invited to come meet the artists during a special unveiling event on Thursday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. You won’t want to miss it!
