Fire Hydrants

Do not obstruct them!

In order to avoid limiting access for maintenance or snow removal and the use of the fire hydrants in case of a fire, it is forbidden in any shape or form to block, paint or transform the appearance of a fire hydrant or to hamper its visibility by planting trees and shrubs.

Note that according to the by-law, it is forbidden to place, to plant or to let grow shrubs, trees or any other plantation or to install a fence or any other structure preventing free access in a 1-meter diameter around a fire hydrant.
