In collaboration with the Cercle de Fermières de Saint-Lazare and Ado’Zone, these workshops give
young people a chance to rediscover the joys of creating things with their own hands as well as learn
about sewing, using a sewing machine, crocheting and macramé. Material is provided (sewing  machine, fabric, etc.)
  



First aid training CANCELED

This first aid training course, back for a second time, prepares teens to deal with situations and incidents involving themselves or their friends, family or acquaintances. Training focuses on: managing anxiety and panic attacks, basic first aid, burns, fractures, poisoning (food, alcohol, drugs, etc.).

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and, when done right, provides your body with a quarter of the day’s energy needs. Eating breakfast is also essential because it allows you to “break” your night-long “fast.”

School Break Activities


Ado’Zone will be open during regular hours, from Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please note that the chalet is closed during outings!

Cross-country skiing under the stars

The activity is cancelled due to warm weather conditions: replaced by an evening of board games at the Ado'Zone ( Bédard Park chalet)

Wednesday, March 4th

Robotics workshop

Overseen by a professional from the Quebec Order of Engineers, young participants will take part in a fun and creative workshop during which they will work as a team to design an automated waste management system path (or take on another challenge based on their interests) with a focus on re-use and sustainable development.

Thursday, March 5th

Graffiti creation activity

Teens will be given the opportunity to design murals on authorized sites and made aware of the impact certain illegal acts have on their community.

Through this activity, teens will also get to meet graffiti artists who will teach them techniques for practicing the art legally.  

Techniques: drawing, marker, paint, spray paint, etc.

Participants will receive a baseball cap and re-usable burlap bag.

Outing with Ado’Zone: Bricolo – Ceramic café

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, alone, with your family or friends, come paint some original ceramic pieces that you can personalize and use every day.

Open to participants ages 12 to 17

Movie night (indoors)

What better way to wrap up spring break than watching a good movie in your pyjamas while enjoying some hot chocolate, popcorn and candy?

Dress in your comfiest pjs and bring along your favourite blanket to come watch a great comedy (in French).

Are you between the ages of 12 and 17? Would you like to meet others your own age? And discover a place designed just for you? A place where you can go with your friends to do free activities when you don’t know what to do? The Ado'Zone, here in Saint-Lazare, is THE place. And we’re located in the municipal park, right in the village core!

What’s really nice about it is that if you’re having a rough time and can’t find a solution to your problem and if talking about it with your parents is not an option, we can help you with that too!

Haunted House


Ado'Zone Haunted House

Not so long ago, Cro-Magnon man roamed the Earth, living in caves. One fateful day, a strange missionary arrived and unknowingly spread a form of bacteria that made them all go completely insane. The women and children attempted to save themselves by hiding but, alas, only three people were left unaffected. Can you help these poor souls by getting them out of the cave unharmed?

If you are between 12 and 17 and would like to participate as a volunteer, contact us!

During October, we will:
• Build the set
• Make the props
• Dress up and animate the haunted house on Halloween.
