Cooking workshop
Friday, January 24th, 2020, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

For the second year in a row, we are happy to offer four new cooking workshops. Young participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop their autonomy in the kitchen.

1st workshop : Legumes
On the menu: Hummus, healthy salad and chocolate dessert.




JLAN - RETRO night
Friday, February 14th, 2020, from 7 p.m. to midnight

Community Centre (1301 Rue du Bois)

For teens ages 12 to 17 Join other teens to play the pinball machines, arcade games and game consoles that were popular from the 1950s to the 2000s.

We have several multi-player stations equipped with big screens. Our usual classics will be there for you to enjoy (Just Dance, Mario Party and Mario Kart) Animators and technicians will be on site.

Food and beverages are also there for you to enjoy.

School Break Activities


Ado’ Zone will be open during regular hours, from Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please note that the chalet is closed during outings! 

Tuesday, March 3rd 

Cross-country skiing under the stars

An outdoor activity in the evening? Why not! All you need is warm winter clothing, a headlamp and a smile. We’ll use the beginner trail to ensure that everyone is comfortable and has a good time. Hot chocolate will be served to warm you up after the activity.

Arrive 30 minutes early to try on your equipment. Departure for the beginner trail at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 4th

Robotics workshop

Overseen by a professional from the Quebec Order of Engineers, young participants will take part in a fun and creative workshop during which they will work as a team to design an automated waste management system path (or take on another challenge based on their interests) with a focus on re-use and sustainable development.

Thursday, March 5th

Mural creation activity

Teens will be given the opportunity to design murals on authorized sites and made aware of the impact certain illegal acts have on their community.

Through this activity, teens will also get to meet graffiti artists who will teach them techniques for practicing the art legally.  

Techniques: drawing, marker, paint, spray paint, etc.

Participants will receive a baseball cap and re-usable burlap bag.

Outing with Ado’Zone: Bricolo – Ceramic café

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, alone, with your family or friends, come paint some original ceramic pieces that you can personalize and use every day.

Open to participants ages 12 to 17

Departure from Ado’Zone at 4:00 p.m. (attendance taken inside the building)

Saturday, March 7th

Movie night (indoors)

What better way to wrap up spring break than watching a good movie in your pyjamas while enjoying some hot chocolate, popcorn and candy?

Dress in your comfiest pjs and bring along your favourite blanket to come watch a great comedy (in French).

Movie starts at 7:00 p.m.

TeenZone


Are you between the ages of 12 and 17? Would you like to meet others your own age? And discover a place designed just for you? A place where you can go with your friends to do free activities when you don’t know what to do? The TeenZone, here in Saint-Lazare, is THE place. And we’re located in the municipal park, right in the village core!

What’s really nice about it is that if you’re having a rough time and can’t find a solution to your problem and if talking about it with your parents is not an option, we can help you with that too!

Why not drop in to meet us? Our place is safe and especially designed for teenagers!

Haunted House

Not so long ago, Cro-Magnon man roamed the Earth, living in caves. One fateful day, a strange missionary arrived and unknowingly spread a form of bacteria that made them all go completely insane. The women and children attempted to save themselves by hiding but, alas, only three people were left unaffected. Can you help these poor souls by getting them out of the cave unharmed?


Seeking volunteers!

If you are between 12 and 17 and would like to participate as a volunteer, contact us!

During October, we will:
• Build the set
• Make the props
• Dress up and animate the haunted house on Halloween.
