Jean-Pierre Gigučre has been living in Saint-Lazare since 1971. He and
his wife Anita have three children, Bryan, Elizabeth and Tyler.
Mr. Gigučre holds a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University's Faculty of
Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. He has 40 years experience in
the animal health pharmaceutical industry. Currently General Manager for
Virbac Canada, an animal health services provider, Mr. Gigučre
will retire in the spring of 2010.
Former City Councillor for District no. 1 in the 1980s, he is actively
involved with the Canadian Equestrian Federation and volunteered for the
Saint-Lazare Baseball and soccer leagues. He is a long-time member of
the Hudson Yacht Club.
